Happy New Year

Let me wish you all a very happy New Year!!

I have some new and exciting news….

Firstly, Durham City Smiles are soon going to be offering the services of Dr Paula M A Graham. Paula is a buddy of mine from my University days and she will be putting our spare surgery to good use by offering a couple of fantastic new procedures to our already comprehensive list of cosmetic techniques. The first is ‘Facial Rejuvenation’ – a product similar to Botox, and the second is ‘Dermal Fillers’ – a little like Collagen implants. We’ll be adding some new information to the website soon so please keep checking for updates.

Our second piece of exciting news is that we have recently Guinea Pigged a tooth whitening product! Our two willing volunteers (a very keen patient and myself!) trialled the product, and while my teeth unfortunately proved too sensitive to continue treatment past one week, the patient had fantastic results after just two weeks with absolutely no sensitivity at all. So, having overcome my past reservations in this area, Durham City Smiles will now be offering Tooth Whitening procedures to our patients.

So 2011 at Durham City Smiles is starting with a bang and it’s still only January!! – I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of the New Year brings!
